Hello, I'm 👋

Irving Betesh

Chief Revenue Officer

I am a Partner at AFN, where I oversee our sales representatives, manage the floor, handle commissions, and navigate the daily “fires” that come with a high-stakes environment. My career is built on a lifelong realization that persuasion isn’t just a talent—it’s a calling. I’ve transitioned from a competitive student with a knack for negotiation into a dedicated leader who thrives in the fast-paced world of business loans.

About Me

Over the past decade, I have mastered the art of negotiation, refining it into a core expertise that consistently drives successful outcomes for my clients. My background in law has provided me with a unique ability to navigate complex deals and manage the intricacies of elite clientele. I pride myself on being a “silver-tongued” strategist who can juggle high-pressure situations with ease and clarity.

My professional journey began over 10 years ago at AFN. I started as a junior representative and progressively earned my way up the ranks through hard work and a competitive spirit. Today, in my role as Partner, I leverage my decade of experience to mentor our team and ensure the sales floor operates at peak performance, ensuring that every deal and every representative reaches their full potential.

My academic foundation began at Brooklyn College, where I earned my undergraduate degree. Driven by a desire to sharpen my natural gift for persuasion, I went on to pursue my legal education at Touro Law School. This legal training has been instrumental in my ability to handle high-stakes business negotiations and the complexities of the financial industry.

Fun fact: I funded one of the largest MCA deals in history.

When I’m out of the office, I stay fueled by the same competitive energy I bring to work; you can usually find me sprinting as a wide receiver on the football field or diving for saves on the beach volleyball court. I’m a loyal Vikings fan and an avid world traveler, with Capri, Italy, holding the top spot on my list for its vibrant culture and world-class cuisine. While I’ve traded my childhood Nintendo 64—and the occasional bout of “gamer’s remorse”—for global adventures, I still appreciate the drive and focus it takes to win, whether in a game or a boardroom.
