I am a dedicated Human Resources professional and a proud U.S. Army Veteran with a career built on discipline, global experience, and a commitment to operational excellence. By combining the leadership skills I forged during my military service with my formal business training, I have transitioned into a strategic HR role where I focus on building strong teams and supporting organizational growth.
Time in Industry:
2 years
Based out of:
Las Cruces, NM

My professional expertise is centered on the core pillars of HR administration, specifically within payroll management, recruitment, and employee relations. I specialize in streamlining HR processes to ensure they are both efficient and accurate, while also utilizing my background in talent acquisition to identify and hire the right people to drive a company’s mission forward.
From 2012 to 2018, I served in the U.S. Army as an Artillery specialist, focusing on the high-precision field of Mobile Rocket telemetry and calibration. This role required immense attention to detail and took me around the world, with assignments in Korea, England, Brazil, and Germany. Today, I apply that same level of precision to my work in the corporate sector, where I am responsible for overseeing employee relations, managing end-to-end payroll processing, and leading talent acquisition efforts to support large-scale growth.
I have successfully completed my Bachelor of Business Administration. This degree provided the academic foundation I needed to bridge the gap between my technical military experience and my current focus on business operations and human capital management.
Outside of my professional life, I am an avid soccer enthusiast and player, a passion deeply rooted in my Portuguese heritage. I am also a fluent Portuguese speaker, which allows me to stay connected to my culture. Since 2018, I have shared my love for the game as a coach at Mayfield High School, where I find great fulfillment in fostering teamwork, discipline, and player development in the next generation of athletes.
