Growing up, my biggest hobby was hitting the BMX dirt tracks where I loved pulling off whips and table tops, and while I haven’t had much time for the track lately, that adventurous spirit remains. Im a very active traveler who prefers hiking, fishing, and camping in the Rockies during the summer over sitting in a cafe. Unrelated to my professional life, I have a deep knowledge of lacrosse and spend time coaching the game, drawing on my experience as a defensive player who enjoyed the physicality of the sport. For my own creative outlet, I enjoy building models of everything from planes and automobiles to intricate houses. My professional background is diverse, spanning the tax, automotive, and residential construction industries. On the more surprising side, I have a hidden talent for singing and have been known to rock the stage at karaoke with a rendition of “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Academically, I hold a finance certificate from First Canadian and am currently working toward my undergraduate degree in Philosophy.
I enjoy watching hockey, eating good food, spending time in nature, and hanging out with my 2 sons.
